Not much posting recently, and for that I apologize. It is a combination of having the flu, looming deadline for TGC:2, final audits for MHA (which means eARC relatively soon!), and getting audited at my little section of the evil military industrial complex (is it bad that I was rooting for the government shutdown, because then the auditors would have took some time off?). But that’s all good, because my day was significantly brightened when I received this on Facebook:
It isn’t uncommon for groups of people to band together and form squads. A group of us started a squad last semester, and this semester we made it official. We trained together from January until this week when the game started, and (this is the cool part) made our own bandannas. Obviously, we used your logo.
Most of us have turned into Zombies, and we wear it upside down so it looks like the penguin. People have begun referring to us as the Penguin Squad. Our mission is not only to look super awesome with our bandannas, but to spread MHI around. People ask what the logo is, and we tell them about the books. (A lot of these players are the exact kind of people who would love MHI.) A few people have even recognized it.
Anyway, just wanted to show you.
That totally made my day. Thanks, Laura. You guys are awesome.
LOL- Nice free advertising there Larry!!! 🙂
I need to start this on my campus!
Yes Larry, it Is a bad thing that you were rooting for the shutdown. Somewhere, Harry Reid is frowning… 🙂
Seems like a logical outgrowth of Dorm Assassin. I assume the standard rules apply (no attacking during class, in restrooms, or dorm rooms)
Dude — that sounds like so much fun!!!
There’s no play inside buildings, which makes knowing which doors unlock at what hours really important.
