The Straight Outta Tombstone anthology is now available for preorder. It is all Weird West stories. It has a bunch of awesome authors it, with many of us writing in our popular universes. Jim Butcher even has a western Dresden files story in it.
I wrote a story set in the MHI universe, about Bubba Shackleford’s Professional Monster Killers, and their first job in the western US in the late 1890s. It was a lot of fun. This is the first time I’ve ever written anything featuring the original founding members of Monster Hunter International.
*tries to imagine Agent Franks dressed like a Western outlaw*
Whoa!
Well, Franks was running around punching and killing monsters all over at that time frame.
We know that Earl was in a predecessor of TFU during WWII, you can bet Franks was in the war as well.
I enjoy anything weird west!
(Well, except for that sucky episode of Batman: TAS by Lansdale where the Dark Knight fought an evil farmer’s mutant livestock. The heck.)
Lots of good-looking names on that list.
That has to do with the typeface used. But good-reading names, too!
Once again, need Kindle/Audible version…
Any plans for an audio edition?
well there was this:

and if this doesn’t work just google Tombstone Pterodactyl…
I’m glad to see the contributors are bringing their worlds to share! I’ve discovered lots of authors to follow by reading anthologies like these. It’s like visiting a buffet. You may not like all the food offered, but if you can find a few things you like, it’s worth the price of admission.
